goodbye Hat Yai

Goodbye Hatyai cowboy town of southern
Thailand door to the kingdom of five baht
buddha sticks and reclining fat buddhas
home of dust and mangy dogs and children
- S.K. Kelen

It was my last morning in Hat Yai. I ribbon-cut the day with a good breakfast but bad numbed legs. Yes, the sedulous attempts of conquering the town yesterday benumb everything and anything. I didn't want to move out from my room, not even from my bed. Evidently, I was lazy. The slothful me wanted some sleep and only sleep. But Alvin wanted one last walk around the Asian cowboy town.

Alvin with his empty plates and my plates which he emptied earlier.

Alvin with his team spirit t-shirt and the team was he himself.

Alvin with the army men. I don't think they give a damn.
